Nirmal International Courier reserves the right, but not the obligation, to inspect any shipment. This includes, but is not limited to, opening the shipment for examination.

Nirmal International Courier shall have a lien on any goods shipped for all freight charges, customs duties, advances, or other charges. The company may refuse to release possession of the goods until these charges are paid.

The liability of Nirmal International Courier for any loss or damage to a shipment (including all documents or parcels) is limited to: (a) Rs. 500.00 for international documents and Rs. 100.00 for national documents, or (b) The actual amount of loss or damage to the shipment, up to a maximum of 100 USD in case of a lost shipment claim.

Nirmal International Courier will make reasonable efforts to deliver shipments promptly according to the regular delivery schedule. However, the company will not be liable for any delays in pickup, transportation, or delivery, regardless of the cause. Nirmal International Courier will also not be responsible for any loss, damage, misdelivery, or non-delivery due to: (a) Acts of God, force majeure, or causes beyond the company’s control, (b) The act or omission of the shipper, consignee, or any party with an interest in the shipment, including violations of the terms and conditions, or any customs or government officials, (c) The inherent nature of the shipment or defects in the shipment, (d) Electrical or magnetic damage, erasure, or other damage to electronic or photographic recordings.

Any claims must be submitted in writing to Nirmal International Courier’s office within 15 days of the shipment’s acceptance. Claims made after this period will not be entertained. Claims for loss or damage will not be processed until all transportation charges are paid. Claim amounts cannot be deducted from outstanding transportation charges.

Nirmal International Courier does not transport cash, jewelry, precious metals, contraband, antiques, liquor, bearer cheques, or similar items.

The liability of Nirmal International Courier is limited to the liability accepted by our principal.

The shipper agrees to send the shipment at their own cost and risk.

The shipper is solely responsible for ensuring that no prohibited goods, as defined by airline regulations, the Government of India, or any international laws, are sent. This includes drugs, cash, jewelry, contraband, etc. Responsibility for any such lapse, whether intentional or not, rests solely with the shipper.

All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai only.
